“Moola,” stars William Mapother and Daniel Baldwin as business partners and best friends, Steve and Harry who are both having a mid life crisis. Just as their business is on the brink of collapse, a huge “deal” suddenly materializes, and they are sure that their lives have changed forever. Based on true events, “Moola” is a comedic look at some everyday folks who deal first with the unexpected effects of a life-changing dream deal, and then find themselves up against the odds in the powerful world of the mega-corporation. Along the way, it calls into question our dreams, our ideas about ourselves, our loves, and the very essence of success.
The film marks the second directing venture for Don Most, whose feature film directorial debut was with The Last Best Sunday starring Douglas Spain and Angela Bettis. The film also marks the first starring role for William Mapother, who recently appeared in Tristar Pictures’ first release Lords of Dogtown and the hit television series Lost.
